Xiplinx Technologies Ltd. (pronounced Zip-links) is commercializing a process compliance solution to provide technical personnel with a solution for tracking, reporting, and sharing observations and activities at work, and to provide management personnel with a tool to view compliance activity in real time.
This configurable application includes a tool to rapidly construct mobile interfaces on a system configuration dashboard to meet unique process tracking needs. Field personnel view and execute tasks shown on a mobile interface on any mobile device. Information is aggregated on a dashboard, and used in real-time to send messages to management and supervisory personnel about critical issues. Data to prove compliance can be shared as soon as it's required.
Brent MacDonald is the Chief Executive Officer at Xiplinx Technologies Ltd, responsible for executing Xiplinx growth strategy, and for creating a customer focused organization responsible for delivery of quality, secure, and scalable products Xiplinx customers. He is also responsible for the provision of a combination of business planning, project management, and technical consulting services to marquee Xiplinx clients. As a former consultant and project manager at Stantec Consulting Ltd. (Stantec), he provided a combination of strategic and business planning, project management, and technical consulting services within an entrepreneurial, leading edge consulting practice.
Joel is Chief Operating Officer at Xiplinx, bringing over 25 years of experience in the IT Industry to his role. With extensive experience in a variety of senior management leadership positions, including those of Director of IT, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Development Manager, and Customer Support Manager and Quality Assurance Lead, Joel Vautour brings a wide-ranging expertise in software and product development gained at several startup ventures in New Brunswick, including icGlobal and Q1 Labs. Prior to joining XipLinx, Vautour spent ten years with Q1 Labs, which was acquired by IBM in October of 2011and two years at icGlobal which was acquired by SkillSoft (previously SmartForce ). Prior to IBM's acquisition of Q1 Labs, Vautour served in several roles and most recently was the World Wide Sales Enablement Lead, traveling extensively conducting enablement activities for both technical and sales professionals.
Derek Roche is the Chief Product Officer at Xiplinx Technologies Ltd.. With over 10 years of experience in graphic and UI/UX design, as well as development and production for a variety of organizations in the private sector, he is responsible for creating a compelling user interface, and matching user expectations with the core functionality of xiplinx software solutions. Derek’s broad skill base includes Adobe Creative Suite (CS4) which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash and Dreamweaver, combined with HTML, XHTML, motion scripting and custom language builds.
Matthew is the Chief Technology Officer at Xiplinx Technologies Ltd., and an experienced software engineer, and startup enthusiast. Additionally, he’s familiar with engineering backend and web development from database to API services, and scaling and optimizing services and applications. His database skills include MySQL, Redis, Memcache, MongoDB, and language expertise includes Ruby, Python, Java, and PHP.
Kevin is a senior developer at Xiplinx. Kevin has over 10 years experience developing software and web applications, deployment of secure applications, software engineering, database construction and is skilled in a variety of programming languages. Kevin is affiliated with the Association for Computing Machinery and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and has developed and maintained small and large scale applications for small businesses and multi-million dollar corporations. Kevin is skilled in all aspects of web development as well as emerging technologies/trends, and is particularly knowledgeable about best practices in usability design.
